Disguised as a human and injected into the earth's population as a member of an extremely "plain Jane" family to avoid suspicion, John is of another life form on a fact-finding mission of human life here on Earth.

His study of human culture through the ages has been enriched by history's incredible record in ancient coins.  This appreciation has led him to incorporate such records of history into objects of adornment.  He finds jewelry to be one of the main consistent elements of all races and civilizations in the universe since time began and hopes, by the adoption of ancient coins in jewelry, that modern humans will share this appreciation of their own ancient history.

John utilizes skills that were neither taught nor inherited.  Arriving on Earth in Sacramento, California in the sixties, he credits his creativity to these alien roots and continues to baffle his earthbound family as a creative oddity.
